The power of a name card

10 years ago i came upon a book by Anthony Robbins (one of the leading motivation speakers) entitled " Unlimited Power". One of the exercises that struck me deeply was the " name card" exercise. So basically he wanted us to write down our name card 10 years from now and put it in our wallet so that we can see it everyday. 

So 10 years ago, 2007 somewhere around this period, i wrote my name card: 

Lau Wen Rong 

Trumpet 

Singapore Symphony Orchestra

My signature, by 2017

Every time i opened my wallet, i will see that name card and it motivated me to work hard towards that dream. 

I am still thinking what my next name card will be.
